खरखौदा में सर्वजातीय किसान मजदूर समाज की ओर से शुक्रवार को ओलम्पिक पदक विजेता एवम अर्जुनअवार्डी द्रोणाचार्य अवार्डी खिलाड़ियों का सम्मानित किया गया। किसान नेता राकेश टिकैत ने शिरकत कर खिलाड़ियों को समृति चिन्ह और गदा देकर सम्मानित किया गया। टिकैत ने कहा कि हरियाणा का तो सौभाग्य है कि यहां के लोग बहुत ही अच्छे हैं, और युवा खेलों में सबसे आगे हैं।

शुक्रवार को सम्मान समारोह में ओलंपियन पहलवान बजरंग पुनिया, रजत पदक विजेता रवि दहिया, दीपक पुनिया, हॉकी खिलाड़ी सुमित कुराड, पैरा ओलंपिक खिलाड़ी अमित सरोहा को किसान नेता राकेश टिकैत, सरदार जगजीत सिंह दल्लेवाल, सरदार लखविंदर सिंह, अभिमन्यु कोहाड़ आदि ने स्मृति चिन्ह और गदा भेंट की।
खिलाड़ी पूरे देश का होता है
किसान नेता राकेश टिकैत ने कहा कि खिलाड़ी पूरे देश का होता है और आज किसानों द्वारा इनको भी मान सम्मान दिया गया है। खिलाड़ी देश के ही बने रहे और अब इन खिलाड़ियों की भी जिम्मेदारी बनती है कि वह भविष्य में अपने अनुभव से और भी अधिक खिलाड़ियों को तैयार करें।

करनाल में किसानों और प्रशासन के बीच हो रही वार्ता को लेकर कहा कि अभी तो समाधान नहीं हुआ है लेकिन कुछ महीनों में जरूर हो जाएगा। जिस तरह से एमएसपी की बात सरकार करती है किसान को भी एमएसपी का गारंटी कार्ड मिलना चाहिए।
