मनुष्य धन-वैभव और धनोपार्जन करके अंह का शिकार हो जाता है और वह अंह का पूजक और प्रचारक बन जाता है। जिस समय उसके आनन्द में व्यवधान उत्पन्न होता है तो वह बोखला उठता है, जिससे उसमें राग-द्वेष की प्रवृत्ति बलवती हो उठती है। मेरा मानना है कि परमात्मा सर्वेश्वर उस संकुचित विचार धारा से ओत-प्रोत जीव पर अपनी कृपा दृष्टि से उसे इस तरह के पत्न के प्रवाह से लौटाने का काम करते हैं। भगवान ऐसे लोगों की लक्ष्मी को छीन कर अपनी असीम कृपा करते हैं। उस भक्त को लक्ष्मी के चले जाने का अहसास हो जाता है। जिसके लिए वह नारायण भगवान का शुक्रिया अदा करता है।
प्रायः मेरे प्रभु जिस पर भी कृपा करते हैं तो वह अपने भक्त के ऐश्वर्य का विनाश कर देते हैं। जब तक संसार में सफलता मिलती है ,तब वह धर्म और भगवान दोनों को ही भूल जाता है। इस लिए परमेश्वर सर्वव्यापी परमात्मा की अनुकम्पा हासिल करने के लिए यह परमावश्यक है कि मनुष्य अंहभाव का परित्याग करके आस्था और विश्वास के साथ अपने आध्यात्मिकता के तार उस प्रभु के साथ कनेक्ट करें ताकि मानसिक शांति प्राप्त हो सके और यही जीवन का वास्तविक उद्देश्य है।
