जम्मू-कश्मीर: सुरक्षा बलों ने शुक्रवार सुबह लश्कर-ए-तैयबा (एलईटी) के एक आतंकवादी को मार गिराया, जिससे जम्मू-श्रीनगर राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर कुलगाम में रात भर चली मुठभेड़ समाप्त हो गई। अन्य आतंकवादी कथित तौर पर भाग गए। आतंकवादियों और बलों के बीच गोलीबारी में दो सुरक्षाकर्मी और दो नागरिक घायल हो गए। पुलिस ने कहा कि स्वतंत्रता दिवस से पहले एक बड़ा हादसा टल गया। पुलिस महानिरीक्षक विजय कुमार ने कहा कि राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग को शीघ्र ही यातायात के लिए बहाल कर दिया जाएगा।
