सोनीपत: दीनबंधु छोटू राम विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय, मुरथल के कुलपति कर्नल प्रो.राजेंद्र कुमार अनायत ने कहा कि वीरों ने अपनी कुर्बानी देकर रणबांकुरों ने सौंगंध निभाई थी कि मां तिरंगा ऊंचा रहे तुम्हारा। भारत योद्धाओं की भूमि है, सेना दुश्मन को हराती है देश की सीमा की रक्षा करती है। कारगिल पर विजय सेना के साहस को हिमालय से भी ऊंचा बनाती है।
डीसीआरयूएसटी की एनसीसी यूनिट द्वारा ऑनलाइन कारगिल विजय दिवस मनाया गया। कुलपति कर्नल प्रो.अनायत ने कहा कि शहादत देने वाले समर्पित देश भक्तों वीर योद्धाओं ने 30 बसंत भी नहीं देखे थे। वीरों ने शौर्य व बलिदान की उस सर्वोच्च परंपराओं को जीवंत किया। जिसकी सौगंध हर सिपाही तिरंगे के समक्ष लेता है। रणबांकुरों ने परिजनों से वापस लौटकर आने का वादा किया था, जिसे निभाया भी, मगर उनके आने का अन्दाज निराला था। वे लौटे तो मगर लकड़ी के ताबूत में। उसी तिरंगे में लिपटे हुए, जिसकी रक्षा की सौगन्ध उन्होंने उठाई थी।

कुलपति प्रो.अनायत ने कहा कि विश्वविद्यालय की एनसीसी यूनिट के एएनओ ले. डा. प्रदीप सिंह ने ट्रेनिंग के दौरान देश में प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया था। राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर ट्रेनिंग में शानदार प्रदर्शन करने वाले डीसीआरयूएसटी के एनसीसी आफिसर डा. प्रदीप सिंह को समारोह में स्वर्ण पदक व डीजी बैटन से नवाजा गया। चीफ हॉस्टल वार्डन प्रो.सुखदीप सिंह ने बतौर मुख्यवक्ता कहा कि हमारा पड़ोसी देश पाकिस्तान हमेशा घुपैठ करता है। कश्मीर के कारगिल में भारत ने पाकिस्तान को हराया। यह 22वीं वर्षगांठ मना रहा है।
