आज फिर से खुशियों में जवानी आई है।
मुद्दतों के बाद खिलते देखे हैं चेहरे,
यह खुशियां मेहरबां की मेहरबानी लाई है।
दरिया भी लगे थे सूखने पतझड़ थी हर तरफ,
लगे हैं अब दरिया भरने पेड़ों पर बहार आई है।
आसां नहीं थी रौनक बाजारों में लौटने की,
हर महिला सामान के थैले भर- भर के लाई है।
मुद्दतों बाद मयस्सर हुआ खाना बाजारों का,
लजीज खानों के चाह फिर लौट आई है।
रहे ‘आकाश’ पर यूं ही मालिक तेरा कर्म,
ना सुनसान हो जो
कायनात तूने सजाई है।
