दिल्ली बार्डर से सटे हरियाणा की सीमा में स्थित खोरी गांव में जंगल की जमीन पर बने हुए तमाम मकान अब तेजी से गिराए जा रहे हैं। एक अनुमान के अनुसार खोरी इलाके में 10 हजार मकान थे, जोकि जंगल की जमीन पर बनाए जाने की शिकायत के बाद तोड़े जा रहे हैं। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इन सभी मकानों को हटाने के निर्देश जारी किए थे।

निगम आयुक्त डा.गरिमा मित्तल ने बताया कि गांव खोरी के रहने वाले लोगों के लिए सरकार ने पुर्नवास की योजना भी आंरभ कर दी है। उन्हें डबुआ आवास योजना में फ्लैट दिए जाएंगे। इसके लिए जो लोग पात्र हैं, वह आवेदन कर रहे हैं। जल्द ही इन लोगों को फ्लैट देकर उनका पुर्नवास कर दिया जाएगा। इसके लिए निगम प्रशासन ने खोरी गांव से शिफ्ट करने वाले लोगों की भरपूर मदद की, उन्हें सामान शिफ्ट करने के लिए वाहन भी उपलब्ध करवाए गए हैं। इसके अलावा भी जिन लोगों को शिफ्टिंग के लिए जो सहायता चाहिए थी, वह निगम प्रशासन ने उपलब्ध करवाई है।
