अर्जुन ने कहा कि उन्होंने जान्हवी को कभी किसी खास नाम से बुलाने के लिए नहीं कहा। उन्होंने कहा, "मुझे लगता है कि जान्हवी के लिए मुझे 'अर्जुन भैया' कहना बहुत स्वाभाविक है क्योंकि मैंने उनसे कभी यह नहीं कहा, 'तुम मुझे यह बुलाओ' या मुझे वह बुलाओ।
मुंबई : अर्जुन कपूर ने कहा कि जब जान्हवी कपूर उन्हें ‘अर्जुन भैया’ कहकर संबोधित करती हैं तो ‘अजीब’ और ‘नया’ लगता है। 2018 में श्रीदेवी की मृत्यु के बाद अर्जुन और उनकी बहन अंशुला कपूर अपने सौतेले भाई, जान्हवी कपूर और ख़ुशी कपूर के साथ जुड़े।
रविवार को द बॉलीवुड फिल्म क्लब के साथ एक क्लब हाउस सत्र के दौरान, मॉडरेटर अनिरुद्ध गुहा ने अर्जुन कपूर को बताया कि डिज्नी + हॉटस्टार ने जान्हवी कपूर के साथ कॉफ़ी विद करण के अपने एपिसोड को सबटाइटल करते हुए ‘अर्जुन भैया’ का अनुवाद ‘ब्रदर अर्जुन’ के रूप में किया।
“यह थोड़ा धार्मिक भी लगता है, भाई अर्जुन,” अर्जुन ने कहा। उन्होंने आगे कहा, “बात यह है कि ‘अर्जुन भैया’ अभी भी मुझे बहुत अजीब लगता है, सिर्फ इसलिए कि अंशुला मुझे बड़े अजीब तरीके से ‘भाई’ कहती है. ‘अर्जुन भैया’ बहुत नई बात है. इसलिए, जब जाह्नवी कहती हैं कि, यह वास्तव में अभी भी मेरे लिए बहुत, बहुत नया लगता है।”
