एसएस न्यूज.उत्तराखंड। उत्तराखंड का नया मुख्यमंत्री चुनने के लिए भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) की विधायक दल की बैठक से पहले केंद्रीय मंत्री नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर के नेतृत्व में केंद्रीय पर्यवेक्षकों की एक टीम शनिवार को देहरादून पहुंची।केंद्रीय पर्यवेक्षक दोपहर तीन बजे विधायक दल की बैठक से पहले राज्य भाजपा नेतृत्व से मुलाकात करेंगे।

भाजपा प्रवक्ता मनवीर सिंह चौहान ने कहा कि दो केंद्रीय पर्यवेक्षक तोमर और महासचिव डी पुरंदेश्वरी पार्टी और भाजपा के प्रदेश प्रभारी दुष्यंत कुमार गौतम और सह प्रभारी रेखा वर्मा देहरादून पहुंच गए हैं.
नाम न छापने की शर्त पर बात करने वाले भाजपा के एक नेता ने कहा कि मंत्री सतपाल महाराज और धन सिंह रावत शीर्ष पद के लिए सबसे आगे थे। “अन्य नामों में सांसद रितु खंडूरी और पुष्कर धामी शामिल हैं।”उन्होंने कहा कि अंतिम निर्णय केंद्रीय नेतृत्व की मंजूरी के बाद लिया जाएगा।
रावत के इस्तीफे ने उनके छोटे कार्यकाल को समाप्त कर दिया, जो विवादों से घिर गए थे, जिसमें कोविड संक्रमण में विनाशकारी उछाल के दौरान महाकुंभ की अनुमति देना और मेगा मेले के दौरान परीक्षण में बड़े पैमाने पर धोखाधड़ी शामिल थी। 57 वर्षीय रावत ने सुझाव दिया कि उन्होंने इस्तीफा दे दिया क्योंकि चुनाव आयोग (ईसी) के कोविड -19 के कारण उपचुनाव कराने की संभावना नहीं थी। लेकिन चुनाव आयोग के एक अधिकारी ने संकेत दिया कि उप-चुनाव कराने के लिए कोई अनुरोध नहीं किया गया था और सुझाव दिया कि ऐसी मिसालें थीं जिन्होंने इसकी अनुमति दी हो। एक मुख्यमंत्री, यदि विधानसभा का सदस्य नहीं है, तो पद ग्रहण करने के छह महीने के भीतर निर्वाचित होना आवश्यक है। चुनाव आयोग आमतौर पर खाली निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों के लिए उपचुनाव नहीं करता है, जब विधानसभा का शेष कार्यकाल एक वर्ष से कम होता है।
