एक तरफ हरियाणा की मनोहर सरकार गांवों में 24 घण्टे बिजली देने का दावा करती नहीं थकती, जबकि पृथला विधानसभा क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत आने वाले पंचायत झुगगी (गांव छांयसा) के करीब 200 परिवारों में रहने वाले 600 लोग बिजली की भारी किल्लत का सामना करने को मजबूर है। यहां रहने वाले लोगों ने बताया कि बिजली विभाग द्वारा उन्हें बिजली आपूर्ति के कोई पुख्ता इंतजामात नहीं किए है, उनके ट्यूबवैलों पर जो कनेक्शन है, वहीं से उन्होंने एक से दो किलोमीटर लम्बी लाईनें खींचकर घरों में बिजली सप्लाई शुरू की है। हालात यह है कि चौबीस घण्टे मेें मात्र 6 घण्टे ही उन्हें बिजली मिल रही है, जिसके चलते उन्हें जीवन यापन करने में भारी परेशानियों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है।
गुरूवार को जिला परिषद वार्ड नंबर 8 के युवा समाजसेवी संदीप शर्मा पन्हेड़ा ने यहां पहुुंचकर ग्रामीणों की समस्याएं सुनीं और उन्हें विश्वास दिलाया कि उनकी इस समस्या के समाधान के लिए वह हर स्तर पर आवाज उठाएंगे। पंचायत झुगगी के सरपंच जागीर सिंह ने संदीप शर्मा को बताया कि बिजली की समस्या को लेकर वह स्थानीय विधायक के साथ-साथ एसडीओ, जेई व कई उच्च अधिकारियों से मिले तो उन्होंने स्पष्ट कहा कि एस्टीमेट तैयार करवाया जाएगा परंतु इसका खर्चा ग्रामीणों को उठाना होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि वह बिजली का बिल तो भर सकते है, लेकिन यहां रहने वाले लोग अन्य खर्च नहीं उठा सकते। ग्रामीणों की बात सुनने के बाद संदीप शर्मा पन्हेड़ा ने कहा कि सरकार को ऐसे गांवों को जगमग योजना के तहत लेना चाहिए, जिससे कि यहां पर्याप्त बिजली की आपूर्ति करवाई जा सके। उन्होंने कहा कि आज के आधुनिक दौर में बिजली अत्यंत आवश्यक है, ऐसे में बिना बिजली के इन लोगों का जनजीवन अस्त-व्यस्त हो रहा है।
उन्होंने विश्वास दिलाया कि वह जल्द इस मामले को लेकर बिजली विभाग के उच्चाधिकारियों से मिलेंगे और अगर फिर भी समाधान नहीं हुआ तो अपने खर्चे पर यहां बिजली आपूर्ति की व्यवस्था करवाएंगे। इस अवसर पर अवतार सिंह, जनरैल सिंह, डा. खुशहाल सिंह, सुरजीत सिंह मेम्बर, भगवान सिंह, सुरजीत सिंह, गुरूदेव सिंह, गुरूदीप सिंह, मलकीत सिंह, दलबीर सिंह, मंगल सिंह, गीतू सिंह, राजू मेम्बर, राकेश कुमार, लालसिंह, रमेश कुमार, हरनाम सिंह, बहाल सिंह, जनरैल सिंह खालसा, सतेंद्र सिंह आदि अनेकों लोग मौजूद थे।
